Vocational nursing program application deadline extended to April 1 for summer classes, deadline for fall classes is June 1 for vocational and associate degree nursing

The Hill College nursing department is now accepting applications for the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Vocational Nursing (VN) and LVN/Paramedic Transition to ADN program. The Hill College Nursing programs offer the highest quality health-related education and training to students of our community and surrounding areas. The programs are offered in a combination of delivery methods, including face to face, hybrid and online courses.

 The Hill County Campus LVN/Paramedic Transition to ADN program is accepting applications for the summer 2019 class. The application deadline has been extended to April 1. This transition program is an upward educational mobility option for LVNs currently licensed in the State of Texas who maintain good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing (LVN) or the Texas Department of State Health Services (Paramedic) and meets all the selection criteria as defined by the Hill College Professional Nursing Program. 

The Johnson County Campus VN program is accepting applications for the fall 2019 class. The application deadline is June 1. The program is a one-year, 47/48 credit hour, curriculum leading to a Certificate of Completion. The Vocational Nursing Program is accredited by the Board of Nursing (BON) for the State of Texas and is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to pass the NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination - Vocational Nursing). 

The Johnson County Campus ADN program is accepting applications for the fall 2019 class. The application deadline is June 1. The program is a two-year, 60-hour, Associate of Applied Science degree. The program offers students the ability to dedicate themselves to increase their knowledge and developing their talents thus allowing them to become highly skilled nurses able to provide patient-centered care in hospitals or other health care facilities.
